had a mattress crisis at noon! thing is, i bought a queen size mattress and when they delivered it and tried to fit it onto the bed frame, it was much too small… one wonders why? silly me who didn’t realize that the bed frame was a king size (altho my mom specifically told the carpenter to make a queen size!). ended up, i had to upgrade my mattress to a king size! luxurious sleeping for only me! :oP

after the crisis, met up with my spore pal and tct for lunch. suppose to meet at chilli’s 1u but there was a power outage so we ended up at champs, centrepoint. my pal was dressed to kill :o) she looked really nice in a simple black top and a light brown skirt, feminine and classy :o)

work’s busy busy, busy as a bee… in the process of closing the accounts. almost done…

4 jan 2004 – tues
went mamak with my buddy who did a 4 page analysis on the digital cameras i wanted to buy :oP thanks! such a dearie! i still dun get the technical terms altho he tried his best to explain to me :oP

5 jan 2004 – wed
met a new friend for dinner at midvalley, char koay teow at little penang café. haven’t eaten there in ages n portion seems smaller. after that, snooped around for digital cameras and had mamak with my buddy to do more analysis :oP

6 jan 2004 – thurs
had claypot chicken rice for dinner at petaling street then helped ric get his laptop bag at midvalley. it was gigantic! watched a few episodes of sex and the city (last season) b4 knocking off…

7 jan 2004 – fri
tried chef loong at ss2 for dinner. didn’t know it was a dimsum place, so had indomie for dessert cos still hungry :oP after that, marathon of sex and the city!

8 jan 2004 – sat
marathon marathon marathon sex and the city last season b4 heading over to my colleague’s place for dinner. she cooked yummy noodles! chatted and watched pandora’s box 2, a funny chinese show starring chow sing chi. haven’t seen it in years! funny :o)

9 jan 2004 – sun
finally finished sex and the city last season! enjoyable! suppose to catch the earlier seasons with yuets… am still waiting for her to be freeee….

scouted for mattresses b4 trying the food at marche, the curve. its not as good as the one in spore but still loved the movenpick choc ice cream! yumm… met up another friend and his housemates for drinks at starbucks b4 heading home to sleep…

10 jan 2004 – mon
took my mom to see the doc and some paintings before buying my mattress. my mom is doing ok and i got a new mattress arriving on thurs, so… yippee!!

11 jan 2004 – tues
wasn’t feeling too well so stayed home to rest.

12 jan 2004 - wed
my pal is back from spore! a very nice gentleman drove all nite to spore, picked her up, dropped her home in pj and went to work. dunno how he stayed awake! not only that, he’ll drive her back to spore tomm nite then drive back to kl cos both of them have to work on fri! the things men do when courting a gal :oP

had mcd breakfast meal for early lunch break :oP haven’t had that in a year i think!

at midvalley car park after work, my stupid car window jammed and couldn’t wind up or down!! my poor friend who was waiting at midvalley to have dinner with me ended up going home to find food. so sorry!! then i had to drive in the rain with my window down back to my house area to look for a mechanic who wanted to charge me rm250 to change the motor. of course i said no until i got better quotes elsewhere but the guys charged me rm15 just to dismantle my car window to tell me wat’s wrong! plus i got bitten by red ants there! argh!

later at nite, went mamak with my pal who came back from spore. saw her new sony T1 camera! she always gets cool gifts! i, on the other hand, am still tinkering with wanting to buy a sony t3 or another digital camera since dec 2003!!
