ok.. i need constructive feedbacks.
i'm at a crossroad... i've just been offered a position as an assistant to a manager for a mere 7% increment... the job will obviously be much more harder than where i am now and at least i am reporting to someone that will guide me (i hope). the manager wants me to be his right hand, left hand, right leg, left leg and coordinate the division. plus its a listed company...
on the other hand, where i am now.. its not that bad. just that i am left to my own devices and have to manage my division on my own and give consultation to everyone. i get to go home sharp at 530pm and i do everything by myself. its not a listed company...
o.. where .. o where... shall i go??? tick tock tick tock.. need to decide by monday.

on one hand you've got better pay, more responsibility, bigger exposure and late hours. then you've got pay, responsibilty, exposure and office hours...
seems like its an obvious choice.

Depends what your priorities are. If you think you are the 8-5 person and looking for consistency and routine in work...then stay. But if you are looking for challenge to learn and grow during this time in your career path, go for it. It may be that you don't like the new position or the work wasn't what you envisionsed. But better to try, than looking back later...what if.
i'd take a job with a big company, even with a decrease in salary just to challenge myself, than to be stuck in a comfort zone.
we're still young.
but then again,working in a small company sometimes demands more.the company i'm in now only has 10 staff,whereas metrojaya had more than 150 only in the hq. but i learn more here in this small company, because they've less manpower...and they rely on me more.
but pls dont stick to the comfort zone.
i'm sure you are up to a challenge, so what the hell give it a go...
