my mom, bro and myself had our chinese costumes (cheongsam and etc...) made at this ss2 tailor for my other brother's wedding early next year. she has this shop called emerald brilliant opposite mcd in ss2, next to pelita.
i have never ever come across businessperson/salesperson with more than 3 faces. when she wants ur business she is all smiles. when u tell her that her tailoring is really bad and that she didn't sew the clothes nicely, she shows u her angry face and ignores u when we are the only customers in her shop. plus she thinks she is gods gift to tailoring when she can't even tailor properly! such arrogance and total lack of professionalism!!
we have been really patient with her. come on! u know wat kind of nonsensical excuses she gave us? oh... ur body shape is like that so that's why the clothes looks crooked on you. i was like... duhh...u senseless tailor! everyone's body shape is different... ur a tailor, fix it! that's why we hired u at exorbitant prices!! if ur gonna tailor my clothes like the ones in the shops, why should i go to u? i might as well buy it off the shelf from a nice boutique at a cheaper rate!! DOINK!
right now, she is such a multi-faced pretender. when she has clients while we are there, she takes care of us nicely. when we are the only ones left, she gives this "i don't care" attitude that is totally unprofessional and ignores us when she has potential clients that walk in!
i am soooo tempted to stand right at her business doorstep every weekend and shoo all her customers away.... LOUSY TAILOR ALERT!!! NOT PROFESSIONAL AND ONLY MONEY GREEDY EYES!!!

EMERALD BRILLIANT IS A SUPER LOUSY TAILOR AT SS2! DON'T GO THERE IF YOU WANT A GOOD TAILOR! EXORBITANT / EXPENSIVE PRICES AND TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! BAD STITCHING, BAD JOB DONE AND CLUELESS ABOUT REAL TAILORING! ALL TALK AND BULLSHIT AND CAN'T DO THE JOB PROPERLY! BE WARNEDDDD!!!!

i'd hate to be the one to break it to you, but all tailors are this way. they blame the customers for having weird sizing,they overcharge tremendously due to the drafting of your personal size,and they change to the devil when someone dares to criticise their handiwork.

I can attest to the evilness of tailors:
Had my first suit made at Sparksman in Bangsar. I asked for slightly longer sleeves to factor in growth, and the bangsat suggested slightly larger cut to factor in 'growth' as well. F$%#r!
i've never had a problem with tailors, mine were always super nice, super cheap and their work is always super...
wait, the only tailor i go to is in Penang, Jefferson's...
