i was watching 50 first dates yesterday and was thinking how nice it would be if everyday felt like falling in love and the first kiss. i think the world would be in disarray! hahaha... but its a very sweet idealistic thought tho...

another interesting thought from the show is being able tell someone anything without asking. well, a by-thought, wat IF one day u stop telling that person anything not becos u dun want to (or sometimes u really dun want to ;oP) but rather u wonder whether the person really wanna know? sometimes, i stop talking for a period of time and wait. one of the saddest truth is when i realize that they are not really interested to know.

which totally contradicts my other side whereby i rarely ask questions. it neither means i’m not interested nor i’m not listening cos i prefer to observe wat the person’s actions are saying as i feel tat words don’t mean much if its not congruent with actions.

but hey, my contradictory nature is covered by my sensitivity as i do ask when i feel the person is out of sorts or stopped talking…:oP

23 nov 2004 - tues
got my 2nd b'day gift, bouquet of red and pink roses sent to my office :o) thanks!

i had bak kut teh for lunch. altho its not from klang but it still tastes good!

my 3rd b’day gift was a ESPRIT t-shirt from hong kong (a gift from one of my colleague) while my 4th b’day gift was from my childhood buddy who actually went to zara and got me a really nice blue sleeveless top as well as a pink tube :o) thank u all!!! love it!

p/s – my first b’day gift was a salt crystal lamp from my best friend :o)

24 nov 2004 - wed
went out to 1u to get a semi permanent tattoo from yuets (my 5th b’day gift!). it’s a butterfly on the right shoulder :o) also got my 6th b’day gift from another colleague, a cute hair rubberband that has pink and blue buttons on it.

another good friend of mine came back from spore so went out to chat with her while she’s having dinner to conserve time cos i had a pre-celebration partying session at zouk, mambo jambo! it was fun and i was out till about 5am?! yuets, thanks for paying my cover charge (my adjoining 5th b’day gift, hehe) and hanging out with me!

25 nov 2004 - thurs
took the day off but i woke up really early (darn construction is still going on!). met my good friend from spore for yummy pan mee lunch and tong shui in kl. spent the whole afternoon till abt 7pm shopping with her. i got an interesting watch to occupy my time :o) heheh…a casio illuminator, its pretty cheap, abt rm90 :o)

26 nov 2004 - fri
went to play pool with yuets at hartamas, breakers was full, so went over to this other place above 1957. it was pretty fun. saw a couple of ex-colleagues there as well.

7th b’day gift from another colleague – a black scarf with gold lining :o)

27 nov 2004 - sat
went to mum’s place for lunch. then to midvalley to meet my uni mate for 2nd lunch at nandos. shopping again!! bought 2 nice halter tops from MNG and ESPRIT lip gloss :o) was too full so didn’t have dinner. later i watched prince and me (julia stiles), which was a pretty nice show. got a slice of b’day cake (after midnite!! :oP) my fav cake from bakerzin, cookies and cream cheese…yummm….

28 nov 2004 – sun
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME! :oP sigh… am older!! went to red box in pyramid to karaoke! then shop shop shop again!! ESPRIT was on sale and i paid RM56 for a cool brown short pants and a comfy blue sleeveless top. then hop over to ying yang and got a pair of white tie pants at only RM20 and a nice blue halter top.

after that stopped by mcd centrepoint to get elastic girl hp holder :oP hehe… oso stopped at 1u to get my ring (a present for myself :oP) at tribal spirit (30% discount!!). then had dinner at hartamas, ate lotsa oysters at the jap restaurant which i regretted later. after dinner, went to watch the funny show ‘without a paddle’, good show to watch!

got a bear that looks like the forever friends bear for my 8th b’day gift and my dad got me a bear from hong kong as my 9th gift! :o)

santai is finally open!!! had yummy dinner :o)

30 nov 2004 – tues
had lunch with PI and got my 10th b’day gift! rose shaped bath soap :o) and finally got my souvenir from her after…. ??? months :oP

at nite, fell sick n puked on the way back from doc’s - food poisoning… darn oysters…

slept the whole day… body aching like crazy… MC MC MC…

2 dec 2004 – thurs
slept again… sick sick sick…

luckily i felt better at nite and managed to watch polar express at the IMAX theatre in berjaya times square :o)

3 dec 2004 – fri
my boss informed me abt bonus… yippee!! am so totally broke oredi but bonus only out in jan!! purposely went for supper at mcd to get jack jack hp holder as well as meeting up PI to order my facial products :oP!!

4 dec 2004 – sat
had breakfast at coffee bean, bsc… 11th b’day gift, a handphone pouch!

joint b’day lunch celebration with my ex-colleagues and got my 12th b’day gift, floral perfume from OP and mini powerpuff bubbles soft toy cos they couldn’t get the big toy..:oP phew!

PI dropped by to pass me my facial products (she’s sooo efficient!!), then i rushed for a uni-mates wedding dinner then went to visit another uni-mate’s 1 yr old baby girl-rachel! so cute!

5 dec 2004 – sun
had breakfast at strudels, midvalley and shopped! argh!! got a pair of red shorts at studio R, at zara = a cool reversible pastel baby blue sweater and a cream colored sleeveless top and a pair of cool casual shoes at hush puppies. i got a free CK notebook from a very nice sales guy at the watch shop too :o)

watched 50 first dates and sorority boys… both funny shows :o)
